Is Bellavista a regular gourmet food market?
Our first goal is to be the source for much of our customers' weekly foods, so all of our foods are available in the small portions and quantities you'll realistically use at home while they are still at their very best!
Our second goal is to always offer foods that are truly of the quality found in the kitchens of the most celebrated restaurants of Paris, Manhattan, Rome and Tokyo.
To meet both goals, we do a few things very differently than a regaular gourmet market.
Do all foods have to be ordered online?
Yes. There are no minimums.
How long will it be before I get my foods?
The next day. All orders will be ready for you to pick up at our market the next day, or to be delivered to your home in areas where delivery is available.
Why should I wait a day to buy my food when I can just go into another market and get what I need without waiting?
Essentially, we act as personal shoppers for our customers. Throughout the year, we useover 260 sources around the world to select their foods.
When you go into another market, all of the foods are out on display shelves or in public refrigerators or freezers. While convenient, this reduces quality, often dramatically. Even dried spices suffer from sitting on a shelf, getting old. At Bellavista, none of our foods go on display shelves. We use our sources to select the best foods. We keep extremely small quantites of foods on hand, and often go to our sources and select perishables specifically for each customer's order!
